Sunstone Circuits Recognized Among Top Ten Healthiest Employers of Oregon
November 23, 2020 | Sunstone CircuitsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Sunstone Circuits® has been named as one of the Healthiest Employers of Oregon for the eighth consecutive year. By promoting the value of workplace wellness and offering employees an engaging wellness program, Sunstone was honored to place 4th in the “medium sized employers” category – those with 100-499 employees.
The Healthiest Employers of Oregon and HR Leadership awards are sponsored and produced by The Portland Business Journal and rewards companies for outstanding innovation and implementation of their own executed wellness programs. The Business Journal honored companies this year for their efforts to improve and engage employees in their own health and well-being. The Healthiest Employers and HR Summit took place on November 5, 2020, virtually.
“Sunstone continues to prioritize health and wellness to its employees as an ongoing effort to educate and inspire employees to make informed decisions to create a healthy lifestyle,” says Sheri Kuretich, Sunstone Circuits HR Manager/Wellness Coordinator
For the eighth year in a row, Sunstone Circuits has earned this award for continuing to maintain a wellness program that encourages its employees to live a healthy life style. This year has been extra tough with the pandemic guidelines, but employees have really stepped up. They are encouraged to earn wellness incentives throughout the year, a few ways include getting an annual physical, participating in companywide challenges, going to the dentist, etc.
“As a leader in printed circuit board solutions, we at Sunstone are not only committed to providing the best experience for our customers, but we are also committed to our employees, by providing competitive salary, benefits and excellent working atmosphere,” says Terry Heilman, CEO of Sunstone Circuits. “Furthermore, good health contributes a positive working environment and personal life; it helps boost morale and creates a healthy lifestyle at work and at home. It’s why we continue to promote health and wellness here at Sunstone.”
